Abstract

Black magic or sehar (Arabic) refers to a practice or an art in which an individual uses satanic powers to achieve the impossible, their own or other’s evil designs, and harm or dupe others. It is an art that can be taught and acquired .With the help of satanic and evil forces ,this art is acquired through great efforts, and requires repudiation of all that is in the Quran and the Sunnah to gain the favor of the supernatural forces, such as Satan and Jinnat. This paper is an attempt to study the truth of this practice in the light of (a) The Quran and Sunnah (b) the saying of the Four Imam (c) the viewpoint of Imam Fakhruddin Razi in Tafseer-e-Kabeer. It includes that (1) the effect of sehar depends on whether Allah wills it or not; and the one who practices Black Magic is considered an apostate whereas the one under the effect of sehar has their reward; and (2) practicing Black Magic is a great sin which may lead to a Muslim magician’s eviction from Islam which is punishable by death according to the four school of thoughts of Islam.

Abstract

Like the limits of crime, crimes against human life and body are also very dangerous in terms of their effects, so the Qur'an has fixed their punishment for them. Islamic law has set specific punishments for it, and it does not allow any kind of crime to be reduced. These crimes have schakled the very basis of society and they have to be dealt with severely. The basic elements of society are the need to protect the structures on which the lives and deaths of society depend. These crimes can be basically divided into two types: 1.Crimes against human beings (e.g. murder) 2.Crimes against the human body. There is a long way to go around, and in the meantime, this kind of research is needed, the seriousness of which is far greater than the rest of researches. Abstract

Aḥādīth is the second most important source of guidance in Islamic jurisprudence. Aḥādīth is the collection of traditions which consists of the Prophet (PBUH) sayings as well as an account of his daily practice. The companions of the prophet took great care in accounting aḥādīth in light of the Prophet’s (PBUH) sayings. However, the later generations overlooked that diligent practice and attempted to fabricate aḥādīth in order to destroy Islam. This can be illustrated from an event when a person who was about to be hanged mocked caliph Haroon ur Rasheed about four thousand aḥādīth fabricated by him. The Caliph replied that he didn’t know Abdullah bin Mubarak who would sift these aḥādīth. Hence the Ummah felt the urgent need to cleanse the traditions of the Prophet(PBUH)from impure ambitions of liars, and so the practice of delving deep into the background of the narrators of aḥādīth like where they were born, instructed, travelled became important. In this way, the scholars developed the system of Jarhwa Ta'deel through which they divided aḥādīth into different categories according to the life and conduct of narrators. One such category is known as "Weak aḥādīth." In this paper, weak traditions from the book of aḥādīth especially Fazaile A’mal are selected in order to discuss their weaknesses and the scholars’ perspective on them.

Abstract

The study of world religions makes it clear that after the basic teachings of every religion, which had came into being after the arrival of human beings in this world, the moral teachings have been given the utmost importance. The improvement in the individual and collective life of people depends on moral education which gives them the feeling of an atmosphere of peace and tranquility in the world. The teachings of moral education also gives a sense of equality in a society in which everyone is assured of the protection of his/her rights and interests. Resultantly, in a society where the roots of "good morals" are strong, society never goes astray. The importance of morality for the individual and collective life of human beings could be gauged by the fact that all religious leaders of the world teach their followers good morals and human rights. The moral teachings also help in distinguishing lawful, unlawful, good, and evil. The religious leaders forbid followers to do things that make them or their social life suffer in the wrong way.

Abstract

Allah SWT; the Omnipotent, Almighty and Creator of the Universe, has created Human beings and Jins for His worship. He bestowed His revelation to His Prophets to guide creatures how to worship Him. Miracles are revealed to support their mission, which were considered manifestations of the prophethood and to nullify the doubts being raised regarding their message. The Holy Quran has testified the revelation of Torah but also verifies that it has been abrogated and manipulated by Jews and their scholars called Rabbis. The present study will undertake that how the Holy Quran and Torah describe the Divine intervention in the form of miracles; bestowed upon His prophet Moses AS, for the purpose to let the antagonists and unbelievers know that these prophets and their mission is true. It is found that there were decisive differences to approach the essence of miracles, presented in both religions; Islam and Judaism, which resulted discrimination in faith. To undertake this study, the researcher has adopted the comparative methodology of text reading and analysis of both Holy Quran and Torah.

Abstract

Migration is an esteem worship and is the primary, significant and essential component of Islamic Sharia, that becomes the expression for framing the ideology, deeds and actions of the believers. Emigration does not merely mean translocation but it is indeed defying the limits that have restricted human imagination. Emigration is doing away with all these boundaries and entering new horizons of freedom. It is the concept of migration that has provided strength to the idea of Jihad (holy war) which in turn inculcates the quality of sacrificial deeds in human beings in the presence of which they whole heartedly sacrifice even their lives to please the Almighty Allah. It is based on it that Islamic Jurists have devised various Islamic rulings regarding migration in the light of Qura’an and Hadith. Abstract

Arab Writers and poets had a great knowledge of Elim-ul Badea (البديع علم ,( Before Islam. Elm-ul Badea (البديع علم (can be found extensively both in their poetry and prose. With the advent of Islam and the revelation of Quran (a literal Miracle of Allah Al-Mighty), rhetoric has reached to its peak, which made it the center of attention for the Writers and intellectuals. They have made their researches of Quran from different angles, i.e. the lexicon miracles, literal interpretation, style and rhetoric of the Holy Book, but Elm-ul- Badea (البديع )علم is such a part of literature which is always open for more research, so this research focuses on the Moral enhancers (المعنوية المحسنات (which is a part of the Elm-ul-Badea in the Quran. This work will throw light on those verses of Quran in which Moral enhancers(المعنوية المحسنات (are present, and are defined as rhetorical explanations beside the definition of Elm-ul-Badea, its development stages, and the difference of opinion among the scholars about the topic. Quran is the Holy Book of Allah Al-Mighty and is the Miracle of the Holy prophet Muhammad peace be upon Him, which challenged the whole world to bring verses like it, and it appeals the human being to think in its meanings. I tried to explore the المعنوية المحسنات of Quranic rhetoric. There is a great scope for researchers to explore the Moral enhancers المعنوية المحسنات of Quranic Rhetoric. I have used descriptive and analytical approach while doing this research to attain the required results.
